[Hello network! Today we have a pretty excited looking Molly who's keeping the camera turned around on herself as she's walking through a busy Goldenrod street. Her Natu is perched on her shoulder, on occasion chirping quietly to herself.]

This city is really big! I mean, I knew it'd be big, and I know it's not as big as New York, but it's really big compared to Violet.

Anyway, I bought a map, and I saved up some money, so ... does anybody know any good places that I should go to? Like your favorite spots or something? Everybody has those.

[She waves at the feed before she turns it off.]

[Action: she is anywhere and everywhere throughout this and the following days, having fun in following that tourist map of hers to well known stores and coffee shops and craft stores and town squares and yes she wants to see everything. Feel free to run into her anywhere.]

Hiya Molly! I'm still in Ecruteak so it'd take me 'bout a day to get there, but I'll leave right away! Just gimme a chance to let Joker know where I'm going, okay?

If you want, we can meet at the Pokemon Center tomorrow morning!

[The weather looks decent for once, even though it's going to be...in the negatives at night. OH WELL, that's what fire types are for.]

Okay! We're gonna be here for a few days so you don't have to hurry. Unless you want to.

_{[That's a bit more teasing as she is in fact totall aware that she's irresistible, or something.]}

I'll be there! Give me a call when you're coming in!

Sure thing! Inferno's pretty fast so I might even be able to get there today, just not until late. So we can either meet then or tomorrow, it's up to you!

[He'd be lying if he said he wasn't really excited to see her in person, after all.]

Okay, let's do it tomorrow! It's no good to meet if we're both gonna fall asleep, right?

Haha yeah, that's for sure! I'll see you then!

[After Jimmy hangs up he's quick to start getting his things packed for the overnight flight, leaving a note at the hotel for Joker to let him know that he'd be gone for the next few days visiting a friend back in Goldenrod. Once that's done he hops on his Volcarona and takes off about midday, flying straight from one town to the other with a few breaks along the way to switch to flying on Pip to let her rest.

He makes it to Goldenrod early the next morning and is quick to slip inside where it's warm with Leader walking by his side. There he stops to look around a bit, folding the collar of his jacket down with a shiver. If Molly is here waiting on him, the first thing she might notice is how tall he is- all six feet of him.]

_{[Yeah, that's nuts. One of her guardians back home is six feet tall but he's an adult and isn't anywhere near as skinny as Jimmy is, so the way Jimmy looks when he enters is a bit like a rugged scarecrow. But unlike your typical scarecrow, he has that friendly face that she's grown pretty familiar with, and she wastes very little time sprinting up to him.]}

Jimmy!

_{[Hope you're ready for the excited eleven year old practically leaping into a hug!]}

Hey, Molly!

[HE IS SUPER READY, if the fact that he immediately crouches enough so he can grab her when she runs over is anything to go by. He hugs her back tightly but gently, lifting her clear off the ground when he straightens back up.]

It's so great to see you!

_{[Oh yay! She's definitely up for being lifted like that and hugs him tightly around his neck with a delighted laugh. At their feet, her pink Furret Scott is trailing along their legs happily and moving to touch noses with Leader.]}

You too! _{[And with another laugh,]} Put me down!

[Leader wags his tail and gives Scott a gentle sniff, exhaling with a low "whuff" as Jimmy's laugh echoes Molly's. He puts her down carefully next to Scott, lifting a free hand to shuck it through his wind-blown hair.]

I hope the trek here wasn't too bad! How're you liking it in Goldenrod so far? It's great, isn't it?

Yeah! There's so much to do!

_{[Which she's super excited about, because as charming as Violet and Cherrygrove could be, they were also a little ... boring.]}

We flew here on one of Shaun's pokémon, it was really fun. Did you just get here? Do you need to heal your pokémon?

Just touched down, yep!

[He nods slightly, unclipping two pokeballs from his belt and turning them over between his fingers. One of them is just a normal, standard ball, while one of them sports the yellow and black markings of an Ultra Ball.]

I'm gonna heal Pip and Inferno real quick, since I know they're super tired from flying me all this way. It shouldn't take me long, though.

Okay, I'll wait here!

_{[The reason for this being so she can dig through her backpack! Which she'd left by one of the tables when she'd ran over to him, but she goes to get it now, Scott trailing behind her.]

[So she brings it back towards the entrance and when Jimmy returns to her she's got both hands hidden behind her back and a mischievous smile directed at him.]}

Guess which hand!

[As usual, the nurse has Jimmy's Pokemon healed up in a jiffy (he seems to be a pretty regular visitor to this particular Center, so he's caught up in conversation with her for a moment while the Pokemon are healed) and soon they're ready to be returned back to him. He snaps them back into place on his belt while he walks back over to Molly, raising a brow at her.]

Huuh...well lesse...

[He leans back with one arm resting against his front, his elbow propped up in one hand while his chin rests in his palm as he thinks.]

I'm gonna guess...that one!

[Jimmy says, pointing at her right hand.]

Wrong!

_{[She says brightly, all teasing, when she shows him her empty right hand. Then she giggles and hands him a messily but lovingly wrapped package in her left.]

[It's plain white paper, but she's drawn a bunch of stars on it and written his name, and it's vaguely circular and a bit ... lumpy. Also there's a bunch of tape.]

[Inside is a small bracelet made from woven leather that has his name on it in colourful beads that sort of matches the one he gave her back for Christmas, and a matching dog collar.]}

Happy birthday!

[He rolls his eyes and lets out a playful sigh of exasperation when he gets it wrong, but he's quick to take the present from her with his smile only growing.]

Aw wow...thank you, Molly! Here, let's sit down for a sec.

[He gestures to the long couches lining the wall, sitting down on the end of one so he can open up the present on his knees. Jimmy lets out a small gasp once he gets it open, holding the bracelet up in one hand and the collar in the other.]

Oh woah! Did you make these?

_{[Having sat down next to him and watched him closely for his reaction, she now gives him a sunny smile even as she shakes her head.]}

No, I bought them. But I showed them mine and asked them to make them sort of like that, and they did! Do you like them?

I love them!

[Even as he says that he's already slipping on the bracelet, turning it up so his name can be seen. He gestures for Leader to come over and sit at his feet while he unbuckles the collar.]

These are super presents. Thank you!

_{[She looks super pleased that he likes them and that he's immediately putting them to use and does that thing where she swings her legs a little as a result. Scott slinks up and puts his face in her lap and she pets him absently as she watches Leader accept the collar.]}

You're welcome! I hope you got lots of other stuff, too.

I did! I didn't get a chance to tell you, but I caught a new Pokemon!

[It takes him a moment to fit it on, but once the collar is in place Leader shakes himself a bit, nosing his muzzle into Molly's hand as thanks.]

I can't let him out in here, though.

_{[Ah cute. Molly immediately strokes a hand over Leader's head, tangling her fingers into the fuzzy mane for a moment before she looks up at Jimmy.]}

We could go somewhere if you want.

How about the park?

[He suggests with a grin. He's been wanting to show Molly a lot of his Pokemon, after all, and that would probably be the best place for it.]

Yeah, okay!

_{[She hops to her feet, zips up her backpack and shrugs it on, then beckons her Furret with a bright "come on, Scott!". She's not really well versed in the Goldenrod geography yet at all, so even if she has a reasonably good direction sense, she looks up to Jimmy the moment they're outside.]}

You know the way, right?

[Jimmy nods, hefting his backpack a bit higher on his shoulders once they're outside, gesturing for her to follow him.]

Sure do! It's just this way a couple blocks into town. If you want, we can go the long way so you can see the circus tent! We keep it up since there are Pokemon living there that take care of things while me n' Joker aren't home.

Ooh, yeah!

_{[She immediately agrees because she's been wanting to see that circus ever since Jimmy first mentioned it.]}

Are there pokémon there now, too?

There sure are! Some of 'em are mine, too!

[A portion of Jimmy's roster usually stays back at the tent to help out. It's better than having to stay cooped up in the PC, after all.

It doesn't take long for them to find the tent as large as it is, and even at a distance some pokemon can be seen flying in and out of the entrance.]
