[Hello network! Today we have a pretty excited looking Molly who's keeping the camera turned around on herself as she's walking through a busy Goldenrod street. Her Natu is perched on her shoulder, on occasion chirping quietly to herself.]

This city is really big! I mean, I knew it'd be big, and I know it's not as big as New York, but it's really big compared to Violet.

Anyway, I bought a map, and I saved up some money, so ... does anybody know any good places that I should go to? Like your favorite spots or something? Everybody has those.

[She waves at the feed before she turns it off.]

[Action: she is anywhere and everywhere throughout this and the following days, having fun in following that tourist map of hers to well known stores and coffee shops and craft stores and town squares and yes she wants to see everything. Feel free to run into her anywhere.]

_{[He scrubs ferociously at his face for a moment before starting to count on his fingers.]}

Ah... uhm... one... two...

... Five times, I think.

Right, okay. Nice. I think I know what that word means.

[He might be grouchy from bird attacks and feeling ridiculous over the prospect of apologizing to them when he clearly didn't do anything wrong!!, but he couldn't help that little bit of playful teasing getting out.]

[But, sigh. Yes, he can play nice if he has to. He also has his own share of unfriendly Pokemon, he knows what to do about that. So when Feather comes out he crouches, balancing on the balls of his feet with his arms resting on his knees.]

Hey there, your trainer says you can help me out with those guys out there? They're not happy with me, but if they see you, then maybe they won't attack me too fast.

[He jabs a thumb over his shoulder, gesturing at the crowd of waiting Pidove.]

They don't...burn you?

No, they're just really warm. Like they have a fire inside them.

I don't think so. I haven't seen anybody who doesn't get along with their first one, anyway.

_{[She just stares. Eyes wide, all but gaping at him for a moment as her mind works. She knows that ... that you can come back if you have the right blood, and ... okay, no, it makes sense. If he could heal. She guesses that makes sense.]

[But it still shakes her.]

[Even as her expression clears and she nods, slowly.]}

... does it hurt?

Ahuh. Eevee can come almost any element of Pokemon...they're still discovering new ones. I've got a bright pink one called a Sylveon. He tries to bury my clothes.

[...well.]

Well...my starter can be a little hard to get along with. She doesn't like most other Pokemon...or people, really. But I think she's warmed up to me by now.

That seems just so....physically impossible...

Well ... you're in a different world. So it's already impossible.

_{[Well that definitely makes her look up.]}

Who was your starter?

_{[What even, Henry.]}

Why does he do that?

She's a Zangoose named Rikki. I named her after the Mongoose in Rudyard Kipling's famous story, "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi". She reminds me a lot of that character, since she's so...headstrong.

You're right there....[Sigh.]

_{[He takes a few deep breaths, seemingly starting to calm down. Then nods.]}

Yeah...

_{[Not that Homunculi were overly afraid of dying-- it tended to happen a lot, considering the conflicts they got themselves embroiled in. Their ability to die only to reform, even if they'd been reduced to nothing but ashes, was enough to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies and therefore something they were all prepared to do.]

[But it did hurt.]}

How long have you had her?

I mean we all are.

I've had her for as long as I've been here, so...about two months, now.

_{[... huh!]}

Then we've been here almost as long.

Oh, really? Time does seem to go by quickly here, doesn't it?

I wish I knew...I need to get going and develop this film. C'mon, Cheerios.

_{[The Leafeon's ears droop but he dips his head down to snuffle loudly into the top of Molly's hair before springing down to his trainer's side. Henry takes up his box disguise and gives the girl a wave.]}

I guess.

But it's slow, too.

Oh, okay.

_{[She sends Cheerios a kiss and then gives a wave towards both him and his trainer. She won't interrupt them if they're going somewhere.]}

_{[She looks at him for another few seconds, and then without saying anything else, she reaches for him again. Death is ... it's a tricky topic. She wants to know but she doesn't want to have to ask, and she's scared to know, and maybe he doesn't die like other people do either, and it's complicated.]

[But she can focus on the task at hand for now, which is to get Wrath to a Center so he won't have to be freaked out about the blood, so she resolutely tugs at him and starts walking again, even if her demeanor and grip are a lot softer.]}

[Rin turns at the sound of her voice and waves his arms in greeting. As soon as she is close enough, he ruffles her hair and pulls her into a quick one-armed hug.]
