They're still calm, but a few of them raise their heads to observe her, which makes her pause until most of them start grazing again. Then she throws a treat their way, holds her breath. Two of them go for it, so she throws another, so they won't have to fight over it.]
[The first time when she gets closer she accidentally startles them and the whole herd trots some distance away, but she just waves to Jimmy that she'll keep trying, not particularly discouraged.]
[And the second time she gets close enough to know for sure she can hit the Ponyta whose interest she managed to keep, and she throws a ball, and it gets out, but after a moment of uncertainty it searches the ground for more treats when she throws them, and the second time she has it in a ball, it wiggles and it clicks.]
[Leading to her immediately snatching that ball up, accidentally spooking the rest of the herd to run away again, but she just runs back to Jimmy, happy and breathless, holding the pokéball in a victory grip.]
