[Jimmy can he heard shouting muffled in the distance far before he ever gets back to his tent where he and Molly stay while in Goldenrod. ...when it's not too cold to, anyway, because once she wakes up she's going to have a bit of a rude awakening on that front.
Jimmy comes skidding in through the entrance with Leader at his side, the two of them covered in snowflakes. Leader ducks his head with a sneeze before shaking himself bodily as Jimmy rushes to Molly's cot, nudging her to wake her up if she isn't already awake from all of the noise he's making because HOLY CRAP.]
[Molly was awake pretty much immediately someone shouted her name, and she stares at Jimmy with an alarmed look as she goes through all the reasons he might be yelling her name this loudly, at first not even registering the snow on him ...]
[But then he says that, and she gapes.]
No it's not! It's summer!
[But it's cold, and she scrambles up, pulling on her jeans over her pjs, definitely intending to go see.]
[As if the snow will stop while he's talking, which it most certainly won't. It's not exactly a blizzard out there, but it seems like it was snowing all night while they were asleep.
Once they actually get out there, Molly will see that Jimmy wasn't joking this time. The grass is coated in a generous sheet of white ice, and the temperature outside has dropped down to freezing.]
[Molly's definitely not dressed for the weather but since it's August, why would she be, but she was still sensible enough to grab her (thin) jacket as she followed Jimmy ouside, and once there she stands next to him shivering right along with him as she takes all this in.]
[There's amazement. And wonder. And definitely disbelief.]
Woah ...
[She takes a few running steps into the snow, crushes the grass beneath her feet, hearing that satisfying little crunching noise. She has to laugh, even as she turns towards Jimmy and throws her arms out.]
[Jimmy shudders, wrapping his arms tightly around himself as Leader comes trotting through the snow after them. He seems to be quite enjoying it, compared to all of the heat they've had. His thick fur hasn't really meshed well with it, and even worse with the rain.]
I haven't seen any of those around...at least, I don't think.
[He's going to have to do a bit of team shuffling himself- mostly to get some more fire types on hand, as well as a few of his team members who will be more suited for the snow, like Cherry.]
Or maybe winter came super early and we're gonna have to deal with this til april.
[She doesn't really believe that, but she also seems untroubled by the idea for now as she gets back to where she was sleeping and starts digging around for the pokémon she wants today - Jay, Sunny, Ember and Blaze, and she hooks them on her belt. Most of her winter clothes are in storage in the computer, but she still puts on a few more layers, like a hoodie under her jacket, and digs up a pair of hobo gloves that got left in her backpack sometime in spring.]
[He teases as he gets to work finding his clothes as well. Thankfully for Jimmy, he always carries around the jacket that Rose gave him a year ago in his bag, just on the off chance he'll need it for times like this. He's quick to put it on over his T-shirt, equally glad that he's taken to wearing long jeans more often than not while it was raining so badly.]
So, where do you wanna go then, Molly? I bet the whole town is covered in snow right now!
Really? It's only snowed one time EVER back where I'm from, and that's only cause my friend Heloise made it snow.
[Jimmy replies as he lets Molly tug him back out of the tent, turning to look up at the grey clusters of clouds overhead. Snow is steadily falling even now, piling up on the ground and the roofs of nearby buildings.]
[Again, she's not serious, but it's friendly as she pulls him along, looking at the streets and the people huddling for warmth and the people just taking the opportunity to enjoy the snowfall.]
If that's the case, then that means she's figured out how to travel to other worlds, and that would be super cool!
[And he's sure that a lot of people would be demanding that she figure out a way to send them back home, too. Still, he follows along, clicking his tongue for Leader to follow in their wake.]
Gee, looks like we're not the only ones caught up in all the snow this morning.
[She nudges him playfully and lets him go to grab Jay's pokéball, gesturing for Jimmy to pause as she lets the ice dinosaur out. He looks kind of confused at first but then brightens up and walks in an excited circle around Molly and Jimmy and Leader, looking at the landscape and really enjoying the chill.]
[Molly laughs, and pets him, and tells him that they're going for a walk. Jay agrees, stretching his sails to soak in the crisp air.]
I bet all ice types must be really happy right now.

Yaknow, I actually don't have any ice type Pokemon at all yet! Some of my Pokemon can use ice moves, but none of them are actually that type.
