[He's not worried, you're worried. Rin is quite comfortable at home with his pokemon and his brother and living without a care in the world. Why would he be worried? Why would he be calling some little kid? Why is he holding what looks to be a care package without an address? All irrelevant questions. All of them.]
Hey Molly? You okay out there? Hope so. I know it's been pretty cold lately. The road from Cherrygrove to Violet is pretty long.... so. ...You should stay inside until the weather gets better.
You probably already know that... [mumblemumblewhydidiaskthat...]
...Uhm. ...How many pokemon do you have with you? If you need a fire-type, just ask, okay?
[There are loads of other questions to ask, but that would be too much to say in one message, right? Right.]
[It's nothing special, really. It's really just a simple 'thank you' gift. Really. Simple as it is, it's still wrapped up nicely - and it's even tied up with a white ribbon! There's also a gift tag instead of a letter because someone felt too self-conscious to actually write a letter this time.
From: Rin To: Molly
Hope this helps you make a great friend
Inside of this dolled up box - is more wrapping paper???
Geez, there's a lot of paper. Pink paper, blue paper, purple paper, white paper --
[Jimmy and Molly had been on the road for a few days by now. It took little over four days to make the trek through Route 34 and on into the Ilex Forest. Though they could have flown straight to Azalea and made it there in far less time, it was more enjoyable to get to take in the scenery from the ground. Plus, camping in the forest was something Jimmy had been thinking about doing, and he figured Molly would enjoy it.
Having arrived into the forest late the previous evening, they'd been forced to set up camp and sleep until morning. Admittedly, it had been a bad time for traveling, since the past two days had been nothing but overcast and rain, and this morning was no different. And it had been so nice when they started out, too.
Thankfully this morning the rain had calmed to a gentle but steady drizzle beating against the top of their tent. Jimmy's fire types had been able to keep the heavier rain away for most of the early evening using Sunny Day, but it had worn off by now. Still, it wasn't unbearable at least.
Jimmy's still fast asleep with Leader curled up against his back, but depending on how light of a sleeper Molly is, she might notice that there's...something in their tent that wasn't there when they went to sleep. Something small and green, curled up near the edge of her sleeping bag pretty well soaked to the bone, shivering a bit.]
[ There isn't any hint of worry in his voice, nothing that should give off the air of anything being wrong. His brother did make a promise to her, after all... And Molly's been nothing but good to Rin so... ]
Rin said to let you know if anything had happened to him. He's still here, no need to worry about that... He just hasn't woken up. I'm not sure how long he'll be out though but rest assured I'll take care of him as best as I can.
[Jimmy can he heard shouting muffled in the distance far before he ever gets back to his tent where he and Molly stay while in Goldenrod. ...when it's not too cold to, anyway, because once she wakes up she's going to have a bit of a rude awakening on that front.
Jimmy comes skidding in through the entrance with Leader at his side, the two of them covered in snowflakes. Leader ducks his head with a sneeze before shaking himself bodily as Jimmy rushes to Molly's cot, nudging her to wake her up if she isn't already awake from all of the noise he's making because HOLY CRAP.]

I hope you like this gift. I caught it on Route 2. I had a feeling you might like to add a cat to your party. Hopefully it'll get alone with Ember.
