Action:
[No no no no no no. No. That's not her mom. That's not her mom, and this isn't the airport, and it's another nightmare, it has to be. What else could it be? It's a dream and it's not her dream and that means she's trapped.]
[Anybody in New Bark will likely catch the sight of a little girl slowly backing away from the house she'd woken up in with wide eyes before breaking into a run and coming to a stop next to some trees to dig through her backpack. Except it's not her own backpack. And the things inside aren't what she wants or needs them to be.]
[Which is a big stressor to a kid who has no idea what to do.]
Audio, later:
Hello? Mr- Parkman? I didn't do anything, I promise.
[Spoken with the urgency of children who want to prove themselves innocent everywhere.]
Please let me out.

[ Have a small Japanese girl staring into the camera, too excited for audio. That sure sounds like another girl her age! Oh gosh, this never happens! ]
Um, I don't know who Parkman-san is, but hi! My name's Mimi Tachikawa! Are you new here?
[Person, you are far too cheerful for what Molly thinks this is.]
- um, yes ... I mean, I don't know where I am. Can you help me?
[ Mimi thinks for a second. ]
I think you're probably in New Bark Town! If you just got here, I mean. That's where everyone starts out! Do you have a Pokémon? Are you American? What's your name?
[That doesn't sound like anywhere she knows, but ... it's a start.]
[As are those questions, apparently. Molly's a little caught off guard but she doesn't exactly mind, even if she's not sure how to keep up.]
My name's Molly- what's a pockmon?
New Bark Town, um. [ Mimi scrunches up her face. ] I think it's somewhere... east of here? [ Helpful, Mimi. ]
Oh yeah! And this prefecture, or country or whatever it is, is called Johto! This isn't the same world as Earth, if that's where you're from! People here are from a lot of different worlds, so who knows!
Oh! And Pokémon are the creatures in this world! There are a lot of different kinds! This is Palko! [ Mimi tilts the camera down to reveal a cactus - a Maractus, to be precise - looking up at it. She smiles and waves upon hearing her name. ] Palko was there when I woke up in this world, so you probably have a Pokémon who was there too! Do you have one? [ She cranes her neck, as if this would let her see offscreen. ]
[Molly stares for a long moment. Yeah, it should be obvious this is all new to her. So she's speaking slowly, trying to grasp it.]
But someone is doing this. Someone has to be doing this.
Why would they give us things? ... I didn't see anything.
[She left the magical red and white ball in her backpack, naturally.]
There probably is something that brought us here! I don't think anyone knows what it is, though. It might be the weird llama we met a couple months ago. I think that was a god or something!
You didn't get a Pokémon? That's so weird! Everyone's supposed to get one! Maybe you just got a really tiny one and you can't see it!
God isn't a llama.
[Like ... find Jesus, Mimi, please. It's not like Molly's particularly religious, but of course she'd have heard about God as opposed to a god and God is not a llama. Clearly.]
So they're all different? Why is yours a cactus?
[ Christianity, meet vaguely defined Shinto-Buddhism. ]
I don't know why she's a cactus! I guess she was just born that way! Although my best friend in the world I came from could sometimes turn into a giant cactus, so maybe that has something to do with it!
[ Saying this casually, like being best friends with a giant cactus is the most normal thing in the world. ]
That's a weird power.
[weird. The religious debate is also weird, but this is weirder.]
Are they here too?
[ Mimi's face falls slightly at Molly's question. ] Oh... No, she's not here. None of my friends from home are, but it's okay! I've made a lot of new friends!
[ She's not lonely. Much. ]
[Molly doesn't ask either of them though in favour of a quick apology.]
Sorry.
So ... I guess you've been here a while? Almost everybody I've talked to say they have.
Yeah! I've been here for [ she pauses to count on her fingers ] just about six months! I was really scared at first, but this world is really nice! It's a lot better than the one I came from, anyway!
Oh.
[THIS IS CONFLICTING.]
I thought maybe it was a dream. Or a nightmare.
[ Seriously pondering this now. It's deep stuff, man. ]
But if it's a dream, I don't think it's a nightmare! Like I said, it's really nice here! I bet you're going to get along just fine!
Everyone seems pretty happy. But it's still not right that we're here when we didn't ask to be.
[More just ... idly going over that now, but she's getting used to the idea and bouncing back from the earlier confusion and near-panic.]
Don't you think people are worried about you?
Oh! I don't think they are worried about me, because Jakuzure-san told me time stops back home while we're here! So when I go home, I'll go back to the same time that I left! I think that's how it works, anyway!
But it's so weird.
I don't get why someone would do any of this.
... I guess.
I don't know, boys are weird.
[ What do you mean that's not everyone's ultimate life goal. ]
[She'll concede, for now???]
Are you in love with someone?
[ A pause while she considers. ]
I do know a bunch of boys back home who are in love with me, though! Do you have anyone you like, Molly-chan?
[ THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ASCERTAIN RIGHT NOW CLEARLY ]
[Which hadn't been that bad, but she'd still laughed and shoved him off her.]
Do you really have a lot of them who are in love with you?
