I'm sure someone's talked about the badges already, but as for food, most Pokemon are practically living vacuum cleaners. They'll eat just about anything.

But if you wanna feed 'em what's GOOD for 'em, you're probably best off pickin' berries in the woods or buying kibble and Poke-chow in the stores. They sell 'em in just about every Mart so it shouldn't be too hard to find whatever's best for yours. I think they divide 'em up by Egg Group, but I could be wrong. I don't know much about the Breeding side of things. I just kinda grab stuff off the shelves.
