Action:

[GUESS WHO IS NO LONGER CHERRYSTUCK. Molly is no longer Cherrystuck! It's a little after noon when she finally gets to Violet, all her pokémon (and one of Shaun's) out with her and following her onto the sidewalk that just kind of appears next to the grass. She kept them all out so she'd feel less lonely. It got quiet and haunting on the routes at night, but she bought a book before she left and her pokémon kept her company.]

[She goes to the Center first, and then the Inn, she calls Shaun, and then she looks around. Violet is a lot bigger than Cherrygrove, but it's nowhere near as big as Los Angeles, and she still thinks it's more a town than a city.]

[She can be found here and there throughout the next few days, especially hanging out near the bridges over the freezing water looking at the Sprout Tower and playing hide and go seek with her pokémon in the trees lining the town. When she's not curled up in the Inn lobby drawing or reading a book because it's still pretty cold out.]

Does anybody know if there's a pokémon that's good at finding people? Or ... if there's a move that can do that, I guess.

[Contemplative, kind of introspective sounding girl who's thought about this for a while.]

Nope. You can always give a description to a bat or a bird and have it fly around doing a manhunt.

[Well, she didn't clam up or burst into tears, so that's a fair amount better than a lot of his conversations with kids tend to go already.

He inclines his head.] That's a fair point. But that and asking around the old-fashioned way are the best you're gonna do. There's a lot of weird stuff around here, but there's no such thing as a magic GPS tracker.

<sub>[She ends the call and makes her way to the Center again, still with all of her own team out and following her as she goes.]

[When she gets in and spots him, she gives him a wave as she approaches, Blaze bounding in front of her.]</sub>

[Shaun's waiting outside the Center for her, with three of his team members out with him (not counting the egg cradled in his arms). Susie's out with him, as per usual, as well as his Espeon and his shiny Tyrunt.

Shaun crouches down and gives the egg in his arms to Susie the Floatzel so that he can let Blaze jump into his arms, taking all the puppy kisses with a laugh.]

Hey buddy, did you miss me?

[Shaun looks up at Molly with a grin, hands still buried in Blaze's thick fur, his little 3' blue dinosaur tripping over his own feet as he sheepishly hides behind his trainer, big head peering out over/around Shaun with a shy growl. Blaze jumps off of Shaun to let him stand up to greet Molly properly.]

Hi Molly! You didn't have any trouble on the road, did you?

( armin is aware native trainers start at this age, he thinks she can't be older than eleven, and still... something discomforts him. )

Have you tried field glasses?

Finding people...yeah, you'd probably want a Flying-type for that. The kinda thing that covers a lot of ground real fast.

I think you can catch somethin' like Pidgey in most places, but I ain't sure. Haven't gone out to catch anythin' myself in a while.

I don't think there's a bloodhound Pokemon, but there are plenty of dogs that could do the trick.

Growlithe are actually what the Officers use in this place. I think they'd be a great choice.

You mean like a pokemon that can sense things? [That ...sounds like what a Riolu could do.]

[She agrees with birds and dogs, sure, but to bring something new to this topic...]

There's a move called Teleport, that some Pokemon learn. I'm not really sure how it works, like how well it takes you somewhere, since I've never had one. But -- if you had a pokemon with that move and you trained them well, it could be helpful for finding people sometimes.

It could take you anywhere in the world, right? If you trained hard enough?

Plenty of ways to track someone down, if you know how to look for it. But that's tricky if you're not experienced. Dogs are probably your best bet, like someone already said.

The Growlithe line has a really good sense of smell. I've heard Slurpuff can distinguish the faintest of scents, too; apparently they help pastry chefs in their work, but I'm sure they'd be able to find people, too.
