Sort of. My aunt and uncle lived on opposite sides of the country, so every few years I'd move.

N... no. I thought my mom was dead for a long time, but it turns out she went blind and got amnesia. My dad... I thought had run off or died or something. But it turns out he was an alien and he died in front of me. I don't know if that makes me an alien genetically, since the Ellimist messed with timelines to put him back where he was 'supposed to be'... but I never really got a chance to know him.

... My aunt and uncle hated each other, and neither wanted me, so they just kept moving me back and forth.

Elfangor... he's the one who gave us the morphing power. So I'm thankful for that, but I never got to know him. I... I mean my mom's still alive now, so I guess that's nice... and we fixed her eyesight. But she's... she still doesn't remember me. It's not her fault, but... it's like I still don't have a mom.

... Yeah, I do. It's... strange to me. I never had friends like this back home. The six of us mostly started being close friends after we got the morphing ability, not before. But otherwise no one really wanted to hang out with the weird nerdy kid.

I've only seen parts of the first one. But I thought it was pretty good.

I don't know. But liking books is enough to get you labeled as a 'nerd'. Which is dumb, but that's how people around my act.

... At least I think so. My friends are really the only people around my age in my world I've been near for the past three years.
