... did everybody get their powers back?

[A video that's short and sweet and shows cautious excitement, but also a trace of fear.]

It's not another dream, right?

[Action anywhere: Guess who REALLY LIKES HAVING HER POWER BACK? It's Molly. She's gonna be leaning back against a tree with her knees drawn up and her Johto and Kanto map books against her legs, flipping through and marking stuff that follows some kind of logic that's not immediately apparent.]

[That is, when she's not just looking around somewhat anxiously - she's confident she'll find her way back since she can see people again, but she still doesn't like the shifting world all that much. It's unpredictable. She could end up anywhere, and she does; the shifting routes can lead you pretty stray even when you're just trying to get back to Goldenrod.]

[While Molly is looking around from her seat next to that tree, she might notice a boy walking past that's around her age. He looks a little flustered, tugging a bit at the brim of his hat as he walks with a pink Deerling trotting at his side. After a moment he stops and turns, continuing to walk.

He's...pacing? He's pacing, in the middle of the route. Talking to himself.]

...was I doing last? I had the journal, I know I had it with me...I think I did?

[He digs his hands into his hair with a loud groan of frustration before dipping his hands into the inner pockets of his vest, seeming even more distressed when he comes up empty. Concerned, the little Deerling nudges his arm with her nose, causing the boy to startle.]

Wh-!? Oh...right. Look, I don't know where I am, so just...shoo, okay?

_{[Yeah, the talking-to-himself thing kinda carries, and while Molly doesn't register it at first she's definitely putting her stuff down and looking out for whoever is around the moment she does. Especially when she picks up on the kinda fidgety, unsure tone.]

[When she spots the boy, she stands up and takes a few steps away from her stuff, calling out.]}

Hello?

[Dipper stiffens, wheeling around at the voice, but he does relax a little at least when he sees that it's just a girl.]

Oh, uh...hey. ...do you know where this is, by any chance?

I think it's close to Goldenrod, maybe.

_{[She says that kinda carefully, but when she sees how jumpy he is, well.]}

Or ... do you mean the world?

[...well, this already doesn't bode well.]

...this is nowhere near Oregon, is it?

Not really. It's called Johto. It's really different.

Johto...

[She specifically said something about a different world, didn't she?]

So is this, like...not Earth at all?

I don't think so. Or it's a different Earth.

It's probably okay though, I don't think you'll be here for very long.

...really? Why?

Someone told me this happens sometimes, where there are more people than normal for a while, and then they disappear.

I don't know why it happens though.

_{[She hesitates a bit, realizing that's probably not as reassuring as it should be, and then looks at the Deerling that's following him around instead.]}

It's not so bad here though. Look, the animals are really sweet.

Disappear?

[YOU MEAN...YOU MEAN DISAPPEAR AND GO BACK HOME, RIGHT...

The Deerling's ears perk, her tail flicking a little when she notices Molly looking at her.]

Y...yeah, I guess. Better than the other way around...

Not like they die! Just that they go back.

_{[She's ... pretty sure, anyway, and is quick to elaborate when he looks unsure. Then she gives him a quick smile and goes back to her backpack, talking over her shoulder.]}

Here, I'll show you. They're really cool. And friendly.

_{[Finding the pokéball she's looking for, she lets out her Amaura, who makes a happy sound at being out in the open and another one when she reaches out and pets him.]}

[...woooah, now hang on a second.]

Dude, is that a dinosaur?!

Yeah! Isn't it cool?

_{[She skips one or two steps closer to Dipper again, her Amaura following her and stretching his neck out to take a look at the boy.]}

His name's Jay. He has ice powers.

That's really cool.

[Dipper's smiling now, at least, as he very hesitantly puts out a hand for Jay to examine if he wants.]

...Ice powers, like...is he magic or something?

[Though he's always one for logic, he's gotten to where nothing much surprises him anymore.]

_{[Oh good, that was kind of the whole point. She smiles back at him, glad she could at least help him relax somewhat. Jay bumps his face gently into Dipper's hand as Molly nods.]}

Yeah. They're all different, so they have different powers. But he can do ice things.

Hey, Jay, do Powder Snow!

_{[He looks up at the two kids as he's adressed, then focues and makes it snow - right in front of him and between them, just enough to chill the air, but not more than that. He then lies down on top of the snow, enjoying the chill.]}

Woah!

[Once the snow has fallen, the Deerling trots through it with a happy noise, enjoying the feeling of the coolness on her hooves.]

So they all have powers... What can she do?

[He asks, referring to the pink deer trotting in a circle around them.]

_{[She grins at Dipper. Jay greets the Deerling with a happy little sound right back.]}

I don't know ... I haven't seen one like that before.

I bet she can do grass stuff though. Look at her flower!

Grass stuff?

[He echoes, the Deerling coming to a stop beside Jay before nodding her head a bit.]

..okay, show me then!

[...and to that she just sortof stares, her ears flicking back a little. She's not at a high enough level to actually do grass things, apparently.]

_{[... aw, sweetheart. Molly watches her and then she smiles.]}

Maybe she's too young.

I have a bird and she still can't fly.

Oh, heh...that makes sense. So how do I know when she's, uh...old enough?
