[A video that's short and sweet and shows cautious excitement, but also a trace of fear.]

It's not another dream, right?


[Action anywhere: Guess who REALLY LIKES HAVING HER POWER BACK? It's Molly. She's gonna be leaning back against a tree with her knees drawn up and her Johto and Kanto map books against her legs, flipping through and marking stuff that follows some kind of logic that's not immediately apparent.]

[That is, when she's not just looking around somewhat anxiously - she's confident she'll find her way back since she can see people again, but she still doesn't like the shifting world all that much. It's unpredictable. She could end up anywhere, and she does; the shifting routes can lead you pretty stray even when you're just trying to get back to Goldenrod.]

[Veronica answers with a light expression, showing ... clear happiness.]

It's not a dream. I have my powers back too. [Her expression flickers.] This happened one time before... but I'm pretty sure it's only temporary.

_{[There's more of that wary excitement showing in the small smile she greets Veronica with, but she's not convinced it's not a dream yet just because someone else says it isn't.]}

[She gives Molly a shrug. It's the best she can do.]

I don't know. The same reason anything happens around here. [Which is to say, "Who knows".] I asked if this was going to be permanent the last time something like this happened, and apparently it happens... twice a year.

[Oh. She remembers this girl. And despite everything that happened when she ran into her, Elsa isn't going to let that get in the way of the excitement she's felt all day today.]

It's amazing, isn't it? Even if it's just temporary...

_{[She smiles, a little careful. She remembers Elsa too, but she's not sure if they're friends or not since their meeting wasn't even real and not that great a first meeting or anything.]}

[And wouldn't you know it, there's a young man of about twelve wandering along the routes while Molly is working her magic by her tree; though he looks a little lost by the way he's looking around at everything around him, he seems...at least comfortable enough with finding himself out the open wilderness proper. He's dressed for the occasion, too, in a long green tunic with brown pants and sensible boots — the sort of thing you might expect to see at a Renaissance Festival, though he's wearing it like he was born into it.

At his side, and a little behind, trots a Fennekin; whether or not he's noticed it yet, there's really no telling, but it's keeping a steady pace with him even so.

And the boy seems friendly enough, anyway, because when he spots Molly, he waves.]

_{[And as soon as she notices, she waves right back, smile growing as she lowers the map she was working on. She has her Amaura sitting next to her at this point, wanting the company, and he lifts his head as he takes in the two newcomers, watching them as well.]}

_{[Folding her legs so she's crosslegged, she calls attention to the fox, because it definitely catches her eye.]}

What kind of pokémon is that? I haven't seen one like it before.

[He stops, frowning slightly, and casts a vaguely bewildered look between his Fennekin and Molly with his brow furrowed.]

Why, it's a fox. You've never seen a fox before?

[ Naminé looks... far more reserved than Molly, but she shakes her head nonetheless. ]

I don't think it's a dream.

Someone told me this happens sometimes. So I guess it isn't, but it's still weird.

_{[There's a shrug about that, but Molly doesn't look completely at ease. She's not that big on dreams. And this doesn't seem really real.]}

[ Oh. Naminé's definitely more unsure about that; waking up with something very important missing is not something she wants to experience again. ]

Well, I wouldn't know, since I didn't have powers to begin with, but it seems a lot of people have. Did you get yours back Molly? [He smiles kindly.] It's absolutely not a dream. At least, that I can tell.

_{[She gives a small smile back, but looks curious too.]}

How can you tell though? Really tell?

[ 'Sup, kid Chie doesn't recognize since they've only spoken over text. She's sitting in the tree Molly is leaning against, checking the pictures on her camera and generally just taking it easy, feeling rather carefree despite all the weird things that are going on.

After a while, however, she decides that she's in the mood for talking to the person sitting below her. ]

Hi, down there. What are you doing?

_{[She's a little bit startled, but after the wide-eyed look upwards she then smiles and waves and angles the maps she's working on up for the other girl to see.]}

Looking at places. What are you doing?

[While Molly is looking around from her seat next to that tree, she might notice a boy walking past that's around her age. He looks a little flustered, tugging a bit at the brim of his hat as he walks with a pink Deerling trotting at his side. After a moment he stops and turns, continuing to walk.

He's...pacing? He's pacing, in the middle of the route. Talking to himself.]

...was I doing last? I had the journal, I know I had it with me...I think I did?

[He digs his hands into his hair with a loud groan of frustration before dipping his hands into the inner pockets of his vest, seeming even more distressed when he comes up empty. Concerned, the little Deerling nudges his arm with her nose, causing the boy to startle.]

Wh-!? Oh...right. Look, I don't know where I am, so just...shoo, okay?

<sub>[Yeah, the talking-to-himself thing kinda carries, and while Molly doesn't register it at first she's definitely putting her stuff down and looking out for whoever is around the moment she does. Especially when she picks up on the kinda fidgety, unsure tone.]

[When she spots the boy, she stands up and takes a few steps away from her stuff, calling out.]</sub>

Are you lost? You don't really look lost, but you're also looking at a map and I only really do that when I'm lost.

[Absolutely none of which probably interests the cute kid she's talking to but that's okay! Probably.]

[He is excited! ...But there are so many mixed feelings about having his powers back. Rin can't help but look over his shoulder, just in case. But if Molly is happy, there's no reason to put a rainy cloud on her parade!]

_{[She laughs, and waves at him when she picks the gear up. She's always happy to hear from him and she's been reassured enough to accept this for what it is right now.]}

It's not that special. I can find people, anywhere in the world. I just have to think about them.

[There's a gentle rustle overhead that honestly sounds more like the WIND than anything else, and that's the only warning Molly will have (unless her power happened to mark that weird little boy's location as DIRECTLY ABOVE HER) before the tip of his long-ass hair brushes across the top of her head and he chirps out--]</sub>

_{[Yes, he is hanging upside-down off of the branch above her and peering curiously down at the map, his arms folded behind his head.]}

_{[... okay! Okay, sure. Molly was raising a hand to kind of ward off what she assumed was maybe some bug or something, but when she hears his voice she twitches slightly and looks up with a surprised look and then a disbelieving smile.]}

I'm just looking at stuff.
