... did everybody get their powers back?

[A video that's short and sweet and shows cautious excitement, but also a trace of fear.]

It's not another dream, right?

[Action anywhere: Guess who REALLY LIKES HAVING HER POWER BACK? It's Molly. She's gonna be leaning back against a tree with her knees drawn up and her Johto and Kanto map books against her legs, flipping through and marking stuff that follows some kind of logic that's not immediately apparent.]

[That is, when she's not just looking around somewhat anxiously - she's confident she'll find her way back since she can see people again, but she still doesn't like the shifting world all that much. It's unpredictable. She could end up anywhere, and she does; the shifting routes can lead you pretty stray even when you're just trying to get back to Goldenrod.]

Tell me about it. [He gives an almost disbelieving shake of his head.] But I guess since everything else is so weird, it's not too huge a surprise.

[A friendly grin gets sent her way.]

So have you ever heard about what a soul looks like?

No.

_{[She gives him an expectant look though.]}

Okay, well... [Leaning against a nearby tree, he starts to gesture with his hands a bit.] It's not shaped like you are physically, y'know? They're more round, and generally they have like a tail-

[His hands make out a vaguely round shape, drawing a squigly line through the air up top.]

But they can be really unique too, with their own characteristics that're your own and no one else's. Some forms of souls are even really rare.

Like an animal tail or a comet tail?

_{[She's listening for sure, intrigued and interested. She knows about souls, her parents were that kind of general-religious, but nobody's talked to her about what a soul is so much as the fact that it exists. So she's really curious about this.]}

What do the rare ones look like?

Yeah, like a comet tail!

Well, they're all different. My friend Maka- she has a Grigori soul. If you can see that kind of soul, you can tell that it has what looks like wings, sorta!

That's really cool.

_{[And she IS really impressed.]}

Can you see mine? What does it look like?

'Course I can, what'd I tell you?

[Grinning, Kirikou reaches up to tap his glasses a bit further down his nose so he can look over them. Not because he necessarily sees better, but just because sometimes the frames get in the way.]

It's this really nice pale blue- that's normal, it's a really good color. The comet tail- [He's calling that feature by that name forever now.] -is a bit longer than usual, but the big thing is that are kinda... eye patterns, I guess you'd call 'em.

Like, you got the ones beneath closed, and then there are ones on top that are open. Get it?

_{[She can't help but smile as he describes this, but it's that kind of disbelieving, impressed smile that leaves her mouth a little open as she takes that in.]

[In short, that sounds so great.]}

Like on the tail?

Oh, wait ...

_{[She crouches and takes off her backpack, then digs around for a pen and her sketchbook and hashes out a a few quick lines as she tries to visualize it.]}

Like that?

[He tries not to be too nosy as she sketches it out, leaning over only when she's done.]

Not exactly. Like, if the main bit was a face, they'd be right here-

[Grinning a little, he reaches over to poke her right on the spaces above her eyebrows.]

_{[She can't help but giggle slightly as he pokes her, wrinkling her nose playfully as she looks up at him.]}

So it's like it's another face?

Like half another face.

[Leaning back, he tucks his hands into his pockets.]

Probably 'cuz of what your power is. Witch's souls back home are kinda like that- they tend to take on aspects of whatever animal they're associated with.

_{[She grins, clearly pleased with this. She's learned to like her power more and more.]}

Can you see your own? What does yours look like?

Nah. You can't see into yourself. [He shifts his weight to his next foot and gives a bit of a grin.] But I know what kind of soul it is! It's a flexible soul too- there aren't a lot of them either.

What does that mean? Does it change shape?

No- well, I mean, maybe. No one's ever described my soul to my face before.

But it just means I can resonate my soul with just about anybody's so long as they're trained. When you do that, then your strength combines, and everyone is stronger.

Like ... a connection?

Yeah. The deepest connection you can make with anyone.

Woah.

_{[And woah, indeed, cause seriously. She doesn't really know what else to say so just leaves it there, watching him with awe.]}
