I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I can't remember everyone's names, but thanks.

[There were a lot of you people. But she does appreciate it, which is why she's reaching out again.]

But ... okay, I have to ask a few things. I've heard people talk about badges, what are those?

And ... well, what are pokémon supposed to eat?

[Video tilts to show the pokémon she's concerned for, then back up to Molly's face.]

They've kind of been eating my food, but I don't know if that's good for them. But I haven't really found anything in those stores either, like bird food or ... dog food or anything like that. So if anyone could help me with that that'd be great.

[Action if anyone in Cherrygrove wants to bump into her!]

Hiya Molly! Glad to see you got to Cherrygrove okay. And woah, you got a Sentret, that's awesome!

[And a shiny one too, by the looks of it. Which makes a little more sense to him now that his sparkly red skunk hatched not all that long ago.]

Badges are things you win when you beat the different gym leaders in towns all over Johto and Kanto! It's good to have badges cause Pokemon of higher levels you got in trades will listen to you if you have the right ones, and some badges you need if you want to be able to fly or surf n'stuff.

And like Roni said, Pokemon can eat pretty much anything! But like, those berries I told you about? They can eat those just fine, along with Pokepuffs and things like that.

Oh, right- well, most things you post on the Network are public! You can make posts anonymously if you got something to say that you don't want others to see, or you can lock a conversation if you're good at that sorta thing.

So just somethin' to keep in mind! Just in case you wanna talk about something and don't really want everybody seeing it. Most of the time it's a good idea to know the 'Gear numbers of friends so you can talk to them that way if you wanna just talk privately or whatever.

I know it's public, I wouldn't talk to myself.

I didn't know everybody could see what everyone else is saying though.

[Jimmy laughs at that, nodding.]

H'yeah, don't worry 'bout it too much though. I never really think about it all that much anyway.

[Of course, Jimmy's nothing short of an open book that never closes, so.]

But yeah, you could prolly get away with not getting badges s'long as you're cool with walking everywhere, but they're super useful to have! Plus, it's fun to work on collecting them!

They're a fighting thing, right? How many are there?

Yup! And there's sixteen altogether, eight in each region. Each gym leader uses a different type of Pokemon when they battle, too. So like- Falkner, in Violet, uses all Flying Type Pokemon! So a good type to have when fighting him would be Electric or Rock.

It's a long way to Violet though. And I'm not sure yet if I want to fight.

Aria defended me from this purple rat that wanted my food, but it didn't look like fun or anything.

[Jimmy nods.]

That's alright. You don't have to worry about it right now, least not 'till your Pokemon are a bit stronger, anyway.

[He smiles a little, tipping his head to the side.]

Aw, is Aria what you named your Natu?

_{[She cheers up from the bit of contemplation.]}

Yeah! Because it's like a song. Even if she doesn't sing yet, I think maybe she will.

And this is Scott.

_{[She balances the gear on her knees and holds the Sentret up under his forelegs. So he gets to play the part of the patient cat.]}

I couldn't think of people they reminded me of, so I thought words would work too.

That's pretty cool! I like those names a lot.

[As he says that he offers Scott a friendly wave.]

Nice t'meetcha, Scott! You'll take care of Molly, right?

He's just a baby!

_{[There's laughter in that protest though.]}

Did your egg hatch yet?

Oh- yeah, he did!

[As Jimmy tends to do with any baby Pokemon he has to take care of, he keeps them out with him for a while to let them get used to him and his Pokemon. So, he lifts a finger and leans offscreen for a moment, giving Molly a sudden shot of what looks like the ceiling of a hotel room.

When he turns the camera back she'll see him holding a fluffy red Stunky in his arms, one that is blinking sleepily at the screen.]

This is Beezy!

She's cute!

Do you know what she is? I think Scott looks kind of like a rabbit, but he's really not.

Well, this Pokemon is called a Stunky, so I think I've got a feeling I know what kinda animal it's sposed to be like.

[...which would be possibly concerning to anyone else, but Jimmy doesn't even care.]

But he doesn't smell bad or anything! At least not right now.

_{[Give her a second and theeere's the penny drop.]

Don't they only do that when they're scared?}

Iiii think so, yeah! And he seems pretty relaxed right now, so I guess I just gotta be careful.

[Very careful.]

I don't think I'd be scared of you.

Really? Cause I think I'm pretty scary.

[He's teasing, of course.]

You shoulda' seen me during Halloween! I was super spooky!

[..Well, he was a scarecrow.]

What was your costume?

I was a scarecrow! My friend Envy is really good at doing costume makeup and stuff, so he was able to make me look extra scary.

[After a pause, a picture will be sent to Molly's Gear of himself for her to see.]

I wish you coulda' seen it Molly! We joined the circus and a haunted house run by a friend of mine and had performers and everything. It was really cool.
