2 ✶ video/action

[Video! Molly's sitting on a park bench in Cherrygrove, a Natu and a shiny Sentret fighting for space in her lap.]

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I can't remember everyone's names, but thanks.

[There were a lot of you people. But she does appreciate it, which is why she's reaching out again.]

But ... okay, I have to ask a few things. I've heard people talk about badges, what are those?

And ... well, what are pokémon supposed to eat?

[Video tilts to show the pokémon she's concerned for, then back up to Molly's face.]

They've kind of been eating my food, but I don't know if that's good for them. But I haven't really found anything in those stores either, like bird food or ... dog food or anything like that. So if anyone could help me with that that'd be great.

[Action if anyone in Cherrygrove wants to bump into her!]

Yeah, that's true. Maybe sometime you'll be able to get a fire type, too.

Oh, sure there are! I don't have any myself, but I have some Pokemon who know some ice type moves. Like my shark I was telling you about!

Yeah! Some Pokemon- especially Normal types- can learn lots of moves of different types. It kinda makes them more well-rounded than a lot of others that way.

So, say, Chomp is part water, part dark type. He knows mostly water and dark type moves, but he also learned a lot of normal type moves and an ice type move.

[...his Furret can surf, Molly.]

As they grow and level up, they can learn lots of moves that way! But there are also these things called TMs and HMs that you can use to teach them new moves.

They're like little CDs. You just break one over your Pokemon's head to teach them the move!

[...]

It doesn't hurt 'em though, s'long as you're careful.

Yeah, it's normal s'far as I know! You can buy them in big department stores like the one here in Goldenrod.

I think so, yeah! There's prolly a list of the different types of moves Sentret can learn, so you can look through those.
