2 ✶ video/action

[Video! Molly's sitting on a park bench in Cherrygrove, a Natu and a shiny Sentret fighting for space in her lap.]

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I can't remember everyone's names, but thanks.

[There were a lot of you people. But she does appreciate it, which is why she's reaching out again.]

But ... okay, I have to ask a few things. I've heard people talk about badges, what are those?

And ... well, what are pokémon supposed to eat?

[Video tilts to show the pokémon she's concerned for, then back up to Molly's face.]

They've kind of been eating my food, but I don't know if that's good for them. But I haven't really found anything in those stores either, like bird food or ... dog food or anything like that. So if anyone could help me with that that'd be great.

[Action if anyone in Cherrygrove wants to bump into her!]

foolishwren: let's take ibuprofen together (hey.)

I think a lot of us come from places where we don't have much.

So this is an improvement, for all its weirdness.

[Heather's gotten used to unusually thoughtful children here... Molly reminds her a little of some of the kids she'd been close to, once.]

Yeah. Much better.

[It IS personal, but it's never been something that Heather's hidden. What's the point? There's no benefit to acting like back home was anything but miserable.]

If I have my way, I'll never leave.
foolishwren: but had to make a lot of substitutions in the recipe (i;m like if you made a girl)

Thanks. I'm happy too.

[But she can sense the melancholy as well, so she adds, in a softer tone--]

Not everybody stays here a long time like I have.

Plenty of people only stay for a bit and then they go home like nothing ever happened.

[It's something that always makes her throat tighten at the thought of it... but to people who are scared and have things to go back to, it's the most reassuring truth Heather can impart.]
foolishwren: ... but it seems as if i have owned you so hard that you are now officially my bitch. im not happy about it either. in fact i am very disappointed (I'm sorry to have to tell you this...)

Yeah, fairness... doesn't come into play here very much.

One of the downsides.

[She's not gonna lie. It's MASSIVELY unfair.]
foolishwren: and brother, i'm grinding that shit like tony hawk (the horror vs comedy line is razor thin)

Well, no reliable public transportation is another, I'd say.

[There's the Magnet Train but that only goes from region to region-- as fun as flying is, it can still be a pain to have to hoof it from town to town.]
foolishwren: YA GIRL... (HEY DEMONS IT'S ME...)

Oh, don't get me wrong, flying is great, but in the middle of winter... Gooooootta say I'd rather take a nice heated bus, y'know?
