I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I can't remember everyone's names, but thanks.

[There were a lot of you people. But she does appreciate it, which is why she's reaching out again.]

But ... okay, I have to ask a few things. I've heard people talk about badges, what are those?

And ... well, what are pokémon supposed to eat?

They've kind of been eating my food, but I don't know if that's good for them. But I haven't really found anything in those stores either, like bird food or ... dog food or anything like that. So if anyone could help me with that that'd be great.

Have you caught a lot of them?

Oh...no, actually. Most of my Pokemon I have bred, or obtained from other breeders and trainers.

I didn't know there were other things than trainers. I got a Trainer's Handbook in my bag. Are you a breeder?

Yes, I am. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I've found that it's actually very interesting learning what Pokemon can be bred, as well as learning what moves they may hatch with.

[You tend to get some...really weird combinations at times.]

That's ... egg groups, right?

That's right! If two Pokemon belong to the same group, they can breed.

There is also a Pokemon called Ditto that can breed with every species of Pokemon, no matter what group it belongs to. The eggs will not hatch with any egg moves, but having a ditto is good if you are a breeder.

Ah...well, yes and no. I have one that I have been borrowing from a friend for breeding every now and then.

That makes sense, since it's so easy to borrow them. With the computers and everything.

They all live in different places, right?

Oh, yes. They can be found at many different routes around in Johto, but I haven't traveled a whole lot myself...so I haven't had the opportunity to look for one.

Oh, maybe you can ask another breeder for one. That's what breeders do, right? Sort of like kennels.

Mhm. It wouldn't be hard at all to get one for myself if I asked.

Though...it might have to be caught. I'm not entirely sure if dittos can be bred together.
