I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I can't remember everyone's names, but thanks.

[There were a lot of you people. But she does appreciate it, which is why she's reaching out again.]

But ... okay, I have to ask a few things. I've heard people talk about badges, what are those?

And ... well, what are pokémon supposed to eat?

They've kind of been eating my food, but I don't know if that's good for them. But I haven't really found anything in those stores either, like bird food or ... dog food or anything like that. So if anyone could help me with that that'd be great.

[Action if anyone in Cherrygrove wants to bump into her!]

I'm glad he's here now. Family is pretty important.

[He puts his guard down for a moment. It's not right to be so uptight with a little kid - not that he's been uptight for very long once their conversation really got going. But still.]

Yeah. He's all I have left so that makes him really important! And in a place like this, pokemon can easily be like family. That's why you gotta feed 'em the best food you can!

[From some place off camera comes a loud squeak of agreement. A moment later a tiny dedenne hops onto Rin's shoulder and nuzzles against him.]

_{[She gives a little smile and nod that she understands, not quite willing to elaborate on the topic, and then brightens up at the little electric rodent's sudden appearance.]}

Do you have a lot of them? What's that one called?

[He knows those feels and he is going to bury them so far away, they won't resurface until next year.

Besides, cute pokemon were way more important.]

This is Mickey! Say hi, buddy~! [Mickey chirps a hello and starts chattering away. He's as animated as Rin - maybe moreso.]

I used to have about 12 of 'em but I had to send them off to live with the Circus People. I don't wanna just stick 'em all in a box. They need to be out there havin' fun with the rest of us!

_{[She laughs a little, and at the chatter, her Natu hops up on her shoulder to curiously chirp back at the Dedenne.]}

What Circus People? Like the ones in Goldenrod? Maybe I know one of them.

[Mickey and Rin both raise a ~~paw~~ hand in greeting.]

Yeah! The one and the same. Y'see, I can't carry more than six guys with me at a time - 'nd I don't wanna store 'em away either. So Joker, the dude who's in charge of that place, was able to hold on to them and keep them for me!

That sounds pretty nice, especially if they get to be out of their pokéballs. Do you know Jimmy?

Yeah! He says he works at the circus. So I thought maybe you'd know.

Sorry. I don't think I've seen him. Maybe he was in costume or somethin'?

Have you ever been to the other region?

Maybe your friend Jimmy can get you in to see a show once the circus gets going again.

Kalos or Kanto? I went on a trip to Kalos with Yukio, but I actually used to live in Kanto! I was a worker at the Breeding Center.

[Molly sure had a lot of questions. Rin was more than happy to answer all of them. This was fun~.]

[AHAHAHA WELL. Rin wants all the friends but peoples don't initially see him as a huge dork.]

Hmm... [well, if he really had to choose -- ] ...Kanto. I like it here in Johto, but I really liked how Kanto's about technology. Kalos has tech too, but in Kanto it feels like - it feels more like home. Johto feels kinda old-fashioned, when you think of 'em side by side.

_{[She nods, seeing his point.]}

Yeah, everything seems so quiet. I'm from a city, so this feels really small.

So am I! My brother and I grew up in a monastery. That's the only place that was ever really quiet - well. Compared to how a city can get.

[But if he could go back to that monastery... well, no us thinking of that now.]

Wait 'til ya get to Violet! It's like a mix between super old fashioned buildings and regular modern stuff. I think Goldenrod is probably the most modern city here.

I want to see it!

[GONNA START WITH DEM JOKES AND HOPEFULLY THE REST WON'T SOUND TOO SAD] My brother and I didn't grow up with them. We were raised by the head priest.

[His smile evens out as a familiar face comes to mind. An old, drawn face. Eyes crinkled and voice booming as he chortled at his own joke at Rin's expense.] ...He was the best.

_{[Ahah aw, she does give him a quick smile for the joke, but it shifts pretty quickly into a serious nod.]

[Which then gets a gentler smile to it, at Rin's obvious recall. She can recognise that a little. She's thinking about her own parents now.]}
